AVP / Associate Director (IT) (40 – 60K)



 Job Duties

-          Perform the IT MIC required by SFC

-          Keep track the new IT requirements required by the SFC and any related parties

-          Point of contact with various IT vendors and group affiliates IT stakeholders

-          Handle system and network planning, development, and implementation

-          Manage and execute projects within the budget and time schedule

-          Coordinate with different business units to ensure the IT matters are up to standard

-          Identify and mitigate any potential IT and Cyber risk. Handle the precaution and backup plan

-          Prepare and Update the IT procedure manual and policies

-          Responsible for all IT related administration, documents and record-keeping

-          Any IT matters as required by the company

-          Liaise with Japan HQ

 

Requirements

-          Bachelor degree or above in Information security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines

-          Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in the IT department of Securities/Brokerage House (SFC Type 1 license)    

-          Sound knowledge in project management, Certification of ITIL or PMP is preferred

-          Familiar with the SFC and local regulatory IT related rules

-          Good command of written and spoken English

-          Japanese Speaking is an advantage

-          Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with the non-IT background people, including front, middle and back office staff

-          Able to work independently, flexible, proactively with minimum supervision
