Assistant Buyer - Fashion Retail

Company Overview
Our client, a well-know fashion brand is looking for an Assistant Buyer to expanding their team

Job Description
•Assist Merchandising team in execute buying activities, stock planning, allocation and reordering situations to meet company business objectives
•Support the Merchandiser in handling all merchandising related issues to ensure a timely management for all orders and deliveries
•Measuring product performance and implementing store to store transfers
•Plan the most effective product placement through managing stock replenishment
•Setting and maintaining data in Cegid systems and databases
•Reviewing order status to understand inventory status issues (overstocks, late deliveries, short shipments) and potential impacts and raise concerns
•Coordinate and participant in regular stock take in office & stores
•Support in identifying the root causes when there is discrepancy in stock take result and provide recommendation to solve it
•Creating ad-hoc Excel files and pivot tables to support analytics

Requirements
•Degree holder in Fashion & Textile or other related discipline
•1-2 year of relevant working experience in buying and merchandising, preferably in the fashion / retail industry
•Proactive, sensitive to figures and strong analytical and negotiation skills
•Proficiency in MS applications and excellence in Excel is a MUST
•Strong Communication, interpersonal and presentation skill
•Excellent organizing skill & project management
•Proficiency in English and Cantonese
