Our client; one of the biggest Japanese securities company in now looking for a Settlement Officer for a replacement.
Settlement Officer
Job Duties
Responsible for operations and settlement of securities in both HK and Global markets;
Perform daily stock and cash reconciliation
Perform trade matching and confirmation
Reconcile holding position with brokers and resolve the discrepancy;
Calculate funding to fulfill brokers margin requirements.
Administrative and clerical support when needed
Requirements:
Degree in Finance, Business or related discipline
At least 3 years of equities settlement and margin control
Familiar with Japan and Asian equities
Good sense with figures, pro-active, detail-oriented and able to work independently
Proficiency in English and Chinese, Japanese is an advantage
