Senior Vice President/Research Analyst - Banking

Company Overview
Our client is one of the well-known Japanese bank with branch in Hong Kong, they are currently seeking for a seasoned professional to join the Corporate Research Department as below:

Job Description
•To conduct research and analysis of a specific industry, company or company group with a fair and impartial view in pertinent, persuasive, and timely manner;
•To conduct tasks related to the execution of internal credit rating assignment, including the determination of a credit rating of covered customers, the preparation of credit rating-related reports, and the processing of credit rating applications;
•To visit customers (offices/plant in HK, China and other places if appropriate) with business promotion divisions whenever necessary for obtaining more in-depth and accurate information on the customers for analysis purpose;
•To support senior staff for smooth, appropriate and proactive operation of the department.

Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Econ / Accounting / Law; Master’s Degree, CFA or CPA or HKAB preferred;
•With 5 to 7 years’ experience in handling research or credit analysis or rating, relevant experience in financial institution / rating company / consultant company is an advantage;
•Experienced in economic research or basic credit analysis of large corporations;
•Practical understanding of financial statements and basic financial;
•Fluent English and Mandarin, conversant in Japanese language is an advantage;
•Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Access preferred;
•Self-motivated and flexible;
•Frequent business trips are required.
