Company Overview
Our client is a prestigious bank located in Hong Kong Island. They are now looking for a highly professional individual to join their Finance / Accounting Department.
Job Description
Responsibilities: Assist in handling daily financial accounting work such as preparation of financial reports, accounting control analysis as well as regulatory returns to HKMA and CBRC. The incumbents will also be required to participate in related system enhancement project.
Requirements
To report to the Senior Manager within the financial accounting team in the company
University graduate with a minimum of 6-8 years’ relevant experience in banking industry
Knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting, including HKMA and CBRC returns, and other regulatory/ management reports
Understanding of wholesale banking operations and related products as well as treasury accounting, structured products and related derivatives
Familiar with treasury accounting, month-end closing processes. IFRS accounting standards and practical exposure to system enhancement project related to regulatory/ MIS reporting issues
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Candidates who are highly flexible, independent with experience working for banks are welcome.
