Company Overview
Our client, a distributors of electronic component parts company is now looking for the following talent to fulfill their team -
Job Description
•Deliver timely and accurate reports for management reference and coordinate annual budgetary process
•Handle or support monthly, quarterly and yearly account closing operation on a timely basis for an assigned Country
•Consolidate and analyze monthly management reports according to IFRS and Corporate requirement
•Analyze financial statements to identify potential risks and operating results, identify variances affecting profitability and business performance
•Work with country finance teams to prepare financial analysis for the management meetings
•Coordinate with country finance teams for monthly Closing reconciliation schedules and final audit and review the draft submissions
•Supervise and ensure a subordinate to handle the claim rebate process
•Drive initiatives to improve productivity and reporting quality
•Co-ordinate, manage and report on the regional contract review process
•As backup support for country finance managers on adhoc basis (Financial questions, Analysis, etc.)
Requirements
•Bachelor Degree holder in Finance / Accounting
•Professionally qualified accountant HKICPA
•At least 5 years relevant experience with MNC exposure. Otherwise, At least 5 years in handling full set of books, which 2 years in supervisory role
•Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS
•Good command of written and spoken English
•Proficient computer skills including Excel and VBA skills
•Proficient in ERP system; knowledge on Oracle is highly preferable
•Strong analytical skills & business sense
•Good interpersonal & communication skills
•With sound people management skill to lead the team
•Work well under pressure and tight timelines in a highly demanding work environment. A proven team player with sense of urgency
•Self-motivated, independent, conscientious and role model of the team
•Drive initiative for improvement and engage other Business Units for the Company growth proactively
•Proactive and initiative with “Can Do" & service-oriented attitude
