Senior Manager -Regulatory Financial Accounting

Our client is a prestigous bank located in Admiralty. They are looking for a highly professional financial accounting professional to join and lead the department. 

 

Responsibilities: Handling and ensure the accuracy for Branch Year/Month-end closing. Supervising daily financial accounting work such as various kinds of financial reports, accounting control & analysis as well as regulatory returns to HKMA and CBRC. The incumbents will also be required to participate in system & project development, and complete other allocated tasks by Deputy Head of the department.

Requirements:

l   University graduate with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in banking industry, including 3 years of managerial level experience.

l   Solid knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting, including HKMA and CBRC returns, and other regulatory/ management reports, section 63(3) & 63(3A) etc.

l   Deeping understanding of wholesale banking operations and related products as well as treasury accounting, structured products and related derivatives.

l   Hands-on experience on treasury accounting, month-end closing processes. IFRS accounting standards and practical exposure to system enhancement project related to regulatory/ MIS reporting issues

l   Strong presentational skill with fluent in English & Mandarin.

l   Proficiency in MS Office applications
