Company Overview
Our client, a famous Japanese company is looking for a candidate to join their team.
Job Description
• Oversee and maintain smooth daily operation in sales coordination and purchase of the company
• Lead a team of some 15 people (consisted with sales coordinator and purchaser)
• Control freight cost and assist in resolving operational difficulties
• Assist in warehouse operation and cost management
• Coordinate closely with sales team to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
• Handle / assist in ad-hoc projects (e.g. SAP improvement and development, EDI project, etc.)
• Occasional business trip to Southeast Asia may be required
Requirements
• Degree holder in any discipline
• 10 – 15 years of experience in handling daily operation in sizable trading company
• Good knowledge in operation workflow including sales operation and delivery flow
• Good command of Mandarin and English and Japanese (at least N2, N1 preferred)
• Work experience in Japanese company / knowledge in Japanese workplace culture in a plus
• Experience in Risk Management / Project Management / Inventory Control / Warehouse Operation
• Strong communication / bargaining / problem solving skills, capable of working independently and willing to face challenges
• Good knowledge in SAP and immediate availability is an advantage
