Japanese Speaking Senior Manager of Production Department-Sportswear

Company Overview
Our client, a Japanese sportswear company is looking for a candidate with the following:

Job Description
-Lead teams to secure the confirmed delivery date and quality on both materials and products (apparel and accessories) with monitoring manufacturing process
-Align with headquarter in Japan on high level strategy and direction for global SCM
-Maintain business cooperative relationship with overseas sales offices, factories and material suppliers
-Provide solutions for delivery and quality issue on both materials and products to the teams
-Coach team managers of cross-functional relationship
-Enhance the preparation of manual, guideline or SOP as business operation improvement by close communication with headquarter in Japan.

Requirements
- Degree holder in Clothing, Textile or relative disciplines
- At least 15 years’ experience of production management in sports apparel and accessories items
- In-depth knowledge of production and quality control process for both fabrics and products by solid experience to deal with overseas suppliers independently
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
- With global brand manufacturer’s perspective by experience to work at liaison office or subsidiary company of global sports brand
- Good command in both spoken and written English, Mandarin and Japanese
- Well-understanding about the importance and essential of CSR and compliance
- Capability to develop subordinates including team managers
- Frequent travel to all over Asia
