Job Description
•Execute daily settlement operations of Banking Business for front office, Treasury and custody services
•Carry out all functions of corporate action for bonds and mutual funds
•Support all aspect of handling the submission of insurance application for clients
•Handling the delivery and payment of investment products
•Handling the payment of company expenses
•Perform daily settlement functions for allotment, income distribution and redemption
•Develop procedure manual and streamline daily workflow and devise process improvement
•Perform data checking and maintenance functions in various banking system
•Reconciliation of transaction entries processing
•Participate in system related projects and perform system user acceptance test
•Participate in MIS reporting and ad-hoc projects as assigned
•Perform daily settlement operations of FX/MM,
•Responsible for daily settlement operations, including deal input, deal confirmation and accounting entries processing
•Execute day-end reconciliation processing
•Review system functionalities/ workflow, processes/ policies and drive on-going improvement for operational effectiveness and efficiency, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance
•Review system specification & process design, and work closely with external support to formulate & implement new processes and controls in order to meet the new regulatory requirements, new business/ industry-wide initiatives, and business growth
•Manage and oversee the UATs/ BCP drills pertaining to the various payments and cash management systems & processes
• Engage, coach and supervise the team for new initiatives/ processes/ policies, and on-going improvement
Requirements
•Degree holder
•At least 3 years of solid experience in banking industry
•Strong mainframe exposures and excel formula setting;
•Good understanding of banking products, banking operations and business models;
•Effective time management, organizing skills, fast learning mode and critical thinking;
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese; and
•Working experience from Japanese bank or Japanese speaker would be an advantage.
