Japanese Speaking Purchaser / Sourcing Officer - Dried Food

Job Description
Our client is a leading retailer in dried seafood market. They have expanded quickly by establishing retail branches across Hong Kong, Macau and China. They are currently looking a right candidate to join their purchasing team for Japan business.


Responsibility

- Provide in sourcing & purchasing support, payment term focus in Japanese / Korean supplier.

- Liaise with suppliers, coordinate and ensure the product is on the schedule with high quality of standard.

- Follow up shipping document, order, term and communicate with warehouse for logistic management issue.


Requirements:

- Degree holder, preferably in Japanese Studies, supply chain, food science disciplines.

- 2+ years in trading, purchasing for retail experience.

- Good understanding of business level spoken Japanese / Japan culture is preferred.

- Holder of International Driving Permit is an advantage.

- Good command of both spoken and written in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) plus Native Cantonese / Mandarin Speaking.

- Good PC skill with proficiency in EXCEL tool is required.

Location: Sha Tin

Working hour: 5-days work week
