Responsible Officer / Director

Our client is a Japanese securities firm now seeking for a Director as below: 


Responsibilities:

·                     Act as Responsible Officer to supervise Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 2 (dealing in futures contracts) regulated activities under SFC

·                     Supervise a team of customer services officers and maintain good relations with high net worth clients

·                     Develop and implement business development plans to promote B2B businesses

·                     Identify, assess, and monitor risks arising from the front-end operations

·                     Co-operate with different internal teams to implement changes for best practices and market opportunities

 

Requirements:

·                  Qualified Responsible Officer under SFC (RA1 & RA2)

·                  Concrete experience in global equity and futures markets (mainly in Hong Kong, China, United States, Japan, & Australia)

·                  Minimum 10 years financial industry experience with 5 years at managerial level

·                  Strong personal motivation, self-initiated, strong work ethic and desire to succeed

·                  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·                  Bachelor degree holders or above

·                  Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

·                  Proficient in PC knowledge (including MS Office and Internet)

·                  Occasional coverage of night shift dealing may be required
