Japanese Speaking Logistic Planner - Electronics Manufacturer

Our client, a Japanese sizable company, is looking for a customer services Officer meeting the requirements below. 

Responsibilities

- Support the team on project management of global logistics

- Develop and execute strategic logistics structure

- Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes for tracking, measurement, reporting and analysis of all operations

- Provide reports on inventory, distribution and freight to management

- Drive process improvement activities based on KPIs

- Support and drive logistics improvement initiatives to 3PLs and freight forwarders

- Collaborate with associates to improve efficiency, productivity and processes

- Other related logistics, freight and inventory matter as assigned

 

Requirements

 

- Degree holder in Business / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related disciplines

- At least 3 years of working experience in related field of a similar capacity

- Experience in logistics industry, manufacturing and global supply chain management is preferable

- Knowledge in systematic process / project improvement methodologies

- Strong analytical, interpersonal communication and project management skills

- Well organized, capable of handling a variety of issues and assignments

- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Business travel required

- Good command of Japanese (N3 or above) Good in English and Putonghua, 

- SAP experience is a plus
