Company Overview
Our client is a well-known bank in Hong Kong. They are now looking for a seasoned professional to join their private banking center as below:
Job Description
Liaise and work with the front office, including sales team heads, relationship managers, assistant relationship managers as well as middle office operations to ensure that all client services, operations and transactions are in control;
Review clients' profile (KYC) of new private banking clients on behalf of team head or department head;
Review the efficiency of internal control system; ensure existing policies & procedures are in compliance with laws & regulations
Review the annual internal control plan and provide direction to the Team as to ensure key control/risks testing are included.
Ability to anticipate issues and risk and mitigate them accordingly;
Manage, guide and coach the team to ensure good productivity as well as compliance level is achieved;
Work closely with change and project management team to provide recommendations and helping on process improvement;
Prepare regular management reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor degree holder or above in Finance or business related discipline;
Minimum 6-8 years’ professional experience in the private banking industry
Extensive knowledge on wealth management products and services with strong business acumen;
Proven track record in maintaining best practice solutions to optimize work flow and identify opportunities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in both English and Chinese;
Strong attentiveness to detail, compliance and control orientation.
Proficiency in English and Chinese
